You are going to love your stay!! Our beachfront townhouse has 4 bedrooms; 1 bedroom on the bottom floor and 3 bedrooms on the second floor. There is a bathroom downstairs in the hall with a shower. There are 2 bathrooms on the second floor. The upstairs bathroom in the master has a shower and the upstairs bathroom in the hall has a bath/shower.

"Bay Blessing is our favorite vacation home in all of Virginia Beach. We have been staying at Dana and Tom's home on the Chesapeake Bay for approximately eight years. What started out as an annual "boys trip" for six Virginia Tech fraternity buddies has now also turned into an annual family vacation with our children and grandchildren. This home is perfectly situated directly on the beach in a very quiet neighborhood and is within walking distance (or very short drive) to several popular bars/restaurants along Shore Drive including Hot Tuna, Shorebreak, La Pizzeria, Surf Rider, Dockside, and Chicks Oyster Bar. The tasteful decor and comfortable indoor/outdoor furnishings always make us feel at home. Because this home faces north, we get treated to beautiful sunrises and sunsets every single day. Our favorite feature is the outdoor living space including the sun room and fenced-in concrete patio overlooking the Bay; a perfect spot for meals, happy hours, and sunset watching. We express our appreciation to the McKees for sharing their wonderful beachfront home with us and can't wait to return each year. "

"Bay Blessing was AMAZING. The best part was the deck with direct access right onto the beach. You could literally have one foot on the deck and one in the sand--no long paths, obtrusive dunes, etc. This was the PERFECT setup for keeping an eye on the little ones while sipping a cocktail and watching the sunset. Also, the McKee's were super accommodating hosts and were very quick to respond when we had a minor issue with strangers parking in our designated spots. We will be returning year after year. Would definitely recommend!"

One of my favorite past times is to watch the birds at the bay. I am envious of them at times as they seem to come and go as they please. Something about the beach just makes everyone laid back! I think we could all learn a little from them.

Like I said, it's time to escape the crazy! And to think we thought it would all be better by 2021. Well, I can promise you (at least while you are here)...here at our bayfront home...all will be right with the world. Take time to grill out with the family while watching the sunset. Have a glass of wine and read a book in the middle of the day! Wear your pajamas on the beach. You do you. Whatever that means. Everything is close to our home- from grocery stores to restaurants (dine in, pick up, and deliver). Don't let the sun set on one more night without a booked vacation.
